Why personify an IT infrastructure through an AI companion?

The challenge: turning a strategic-plan launch convention into a moment of continuous interaction for 1,800 employees. Rather than gaming or the metaverse, WMH Project chose artificial intelligence as the creative territory. An AI built beforehand from employees' own words and ideas runs as the guiding thread of the whole day: voice-over of the manifesto film, plenary host, forum guide and master of ceremonies for the evening. The AI comes alive through organic data visualisation — not a gimmicky humanoid avatar — pulsing to the rhythm of the event.

How can a venue embody the power of an infrastructure?

Choosing Europe's largest indoor arena (up to 40,000 seats, a 1,400 sqm LED screen) works as a life-size metaphor for infrastructure power. Ultra-connected and modular, it becomes a technological playground consistent with an event centred on tech, AI and digital transformation. The scenography directly serves the message: the container tells the content.

How to structure a plenary that generates pride and belonging?

The plenary opens by spotlighting new recruits, interviewed live by an internal MC. A motion-design manifesto film retraces six years of history, carried by the AI's voice, culminating in a digital heart made of a mosaic of employee photos. LED wristbands handed out at entry create a synchronised wave of light, paired with a heartbeat sound and a colour gradient ending on the group's signature hue. The mid-term plan presentation is supported by real-time generated animations and extended through interactive round tables (quizzes, polls, word clouds).

What is the purpose of a 2.5-hour à la carte forum?

The forum unfolds four thematic worlds — Collective, Openness, Resilience, Excellence — with around twenty simultaneous experiences: fast & curious interviews, walking meetings, an interactive ecosystem wall, a podcast studio, cybersecurity exhibitions, an excellence cinema and pitch zones for young talent. Each employee builds their own path through a web-app paired with personalised QR codes: masterclass booking, content download, networking and feedback on the strategic plan.

How to close with an evening that strengthens the collective?

The party extends the concept: a lip sync battle prepared via a talent call, AI-driven collaborative challenges (find a colleague, reconstruct a sentence from the plan), a social wall aggregating photos and messages on a giant screen, and a space to customise an employee gift. A street-food-inspired walking dinner with about ten corners and smooth service (one host per 35 guests) closes the gathering.
